The kit comes with the jig, bits, and end mill you need to finish the lower. No proprietary tools required. The grip area uses Polymer80’s threadless attachment system – it’s different from standard AR grips but locks up tight. Keep in mind this is a dedicated pistol lower; the buffer tube housing isn’t threaded for stocks, only braces.
Good option if you want a lightweight AR build without dropping $200 on an aluminum lower, but know your limits with polymer.
