It requires completion, which involves machining and assembly by the end-user using common tools. You will need to source a compatible slide assembly, lower parts kit, and magazine to finish your build. Always consult and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations before starting your project.
What tools are needed to complete the frame?
Completion typically requires a hand drill or drill press, an X-ACTO knife or end-cutters, and various files or sandpaper. A rotary tool (Dremel) with milling bits can significantly expedite the process. The included jig provides precise drilling guides. Patience and careful attention to the provided instructions are the most critical “tools” for a successful, safe, and precise build.
What generation of Glock® parts does it use?
The PF940v2 frame is designed specifically for Generation 3 Glock® 19, 23, and 32 components. This includes the lower parts kit (LPK), slide assembly, and magazines.
